The New Golf Course at White Bluff will close June 18th – Aug. 31st to renovate the greens with MiniVerde bermuda grass. It is considered the ultimate warm season turfgrass for golf course putting greens. This is the same grass that was planted 2 years ago at the Old Golf Course at White Bluff, which is proving to live up to its reputation. And unlike another favorite course of mine in the Dallas area that shut down for more than a year to replace their greens, I am amazed it can be renovated and reopened in playable condition in just 11 weeks, as was The Old Course 2 years ago. The New Course is planning a grand reopening for Labor Day weekend. Until then, the Old Course will be open 7 days a week.
